Regional Trainer | Elderly Care | Surrey & Hampshire | £50,000

Stephen James Consulting is recruiting a Regional Trainer for an established elderly care provider operating across Surrey and Hampshire.

This is a field-based role covering multiple services, with real autonomy to design and deliver training that makes a measurable difference to care quality.

The role

Working directly with Home Managers and operational leaders, you’ll plan and deliver induction, mandatory and statutory training across the region.

Day-to-day, this will include:

• Delivering induction, mandatory and statutory training
• Facilitating moving and handling, safeguarding, first aid, dementia awareness and person-centred care training
• Identifying learning and development needs across services
• Supporting apprenticeships, qualifications and leadership development
• Monitoring training compliance and maintaining accurate records
• Coaching teams to improve care standards
• Contributing to a positive learning culture across the portfolio

What you’ll need

• Experience delivering training within health and social care
• A recognised training qualification such as AET, PTTLS or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of adult social care legislation and compliance
• Experience delivering mandatory and statutory training in care services
• Excellent presentation, coaching and facilitation skills
• Strong organisation and reporting skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Surrey and Hampshire
