Regional Trainer | Elderly Care | Surrey & Hampshire | £50,000

Stephen James Consulting is recruiting a Regional Trainer for a well-established elderly care provider operating across Surrey and Hampshire.

This is a field-based role covering multiple services within a group of welcoming, well-maintained care homes that combine a warm, homely environment with modern facilities and a strong focus on person-centred care. The organisation has built a strong reputation for quality, consistency, and creating places where residents are genuinely known, valued, and supported.

The role

Working directly with Home Managers and operational leaders, you’ll plan and deliver induction, mandatory and statutory training across the region.

Day-to-day, this will include:

• Delivering induction, mandatory and statutory training
• Facilitating moving and handling, safeguarding, first aid, dementia awareness and person-centred care training
• Identifying learning and development needs across services
• Supporting apprenticeships, qualifications and leadership development
• Monitoring training compliance and maintaining accurate records
• Coaching teams to improve care standards
• Contributing to a positive learning culture across the portfolio

What you’ll need

• Experience delivering training within health and social care
• A recognised training qualification such as AET, PTTLS or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of adult social care legislation and compliance
• Experience delivering mandatory and statutory training in care services
• Excellent presentation, coaching and facilitation skills
• Strong organisation and reporting skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Surrey and Hampshire

This role offers a salary of £50,000 per annum + mileage and travel expenses.
