Deputy Manager (RGN)

Stephen James Consulting is working with one of its established not-for-profit elderly care providers in the search for a Clinical Deputy Home Manager (RGN) based in Oxfordshire.

We’re seeking an experienced, RGN-qualified Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead to support the Home Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the service and help maintain high standards of clinical care and governance within a values-led organisation that reinvests into care quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
Providing strong clinical leadership to nursing and care teams
Overseeing audits, medication management, and regulatory compliance
Supporting staff development through coaching, mentoring, and supervision
Working with the leadership team to maintain and improve quality outcomes

To be considered for this role, you will need:

An active UK NMC PIN (RGN)
Experience within a nursing home environment
Strong knowledge of clinical governance and regulatory standards
Leadership experience as a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead

The role offers a salary of £55,000 – £60,000, with participation in the on-call rota.
