Head of People
Stephen James Consulting is working on behalf of one of our clients in the search for a Head of People based in Leeds.
This is a key senior leadership role within a growing organisation, responsible for driving a high-quality, values-led people strategy across a national portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:

Leading the delivery of a proactive and commercially focused HR business partnering function

Overseeing all employee relations activity, ensuring consistency, compliance, and high-quality outcomes

Driving employee engagement, retention, and organisational culture initiatives

Leading on diversity, equity and inclusion (ED&I) strategy across the organisation

Developing leadership capability and supporting senior stakeholders across the business

Using people data and insights to inform strategic decision-making and improve performance
-
Overseeing reward, recognition, and benefits frameworks
To be considered for this role, you will need:

CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) qualification

Significant senior HR leadership experience, ideally within care, education, or a similar regulated environment
-
Strong background in employee relations and engagement
-
Proven experience in driving cultural and organisational change
-
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

The salary for this role is £70,000–£75,000, depending on experience.
