Commissioning Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Stephen James Consulting are working with a growing provider of children’s residential services in the search for a Commissioning Registered Manager to open and lead a new children’s residential home based in the North West.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to play a key role in the development of a new service, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs in a safe and nurturing environment.
The successful candidate will oversee the full commissioning process, ensuring the home is established in line with regulatory requirements while building a strong and stable staff team.
Key Responsibilities

Leading the commissioning and registration process with Ofsted

Developing the service in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015

Recruiting, leading and developing the residential care team

Implementing safeguarding, care planning and behaviour support frameworks

Establishing strong relationships with local authorities and partner agencies

Driving high standards of care and positive outcomes for young people
To be considered for this role, you will need
-
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
-
Experience working within children’s residential homes
-
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager

Strong knowledge of Ofsted registration and inspection frameworks
The role offers a salary of £60,000 – £70,000 plus bonus, depending on experience.
