Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
£60,000-£70,000
Stephen James Consulting are working with a growing provider of children’s residential services in the search for a Registered Manager to lead one of their homes based in the West Midlands.
The service supports young people with emotional and behavioural needs and focuses on providing a safe, stable and nurturing environment where positive outcomes can be achieved.
The Registered Manager will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring the service delivers high-quality care and operates in line with safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Leading and developing a stable residential care team

Ensuring the home operates in line with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015

Maintaining strong safeguarding and care standards

Overseeing care planning, behaviour support and risk management

Supporting positive outcomes and development for young people in the service

Preparing the service for Ofsted inspections and maintaining compliance
To be considered for this role you will need
-
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)

Experience within a children’s residential home environment
-
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager

Strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted frameworks
The role offers a salary of £55,000 – £65,000 plus a performance bonus, depending on experience.
