Stephen James Consulting continue to work with one of their established not-for-profit elderly care providers in the search for a Registered Home Manager for a medium-sized nursing and residential care home based in Surrey.

This is a senior leadership opportunity within a well-regarded, charity-led service delivering high-quality residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care. The home has a strong family ethos and sits within a purpose-driven organisation where profits are reinvested directly back into care and development.

The role requires a confident and experienced Home Manager who can provide visible leadership, maintain regulatory compliance, and continue to embed high standards of care, culture, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing strong, visible leadership across all operational aspects of the home

Acting as the Registered Manager, holding full accountability for quality, compliance, and performance

Leading, developing, and supporting a multidisciplinary care and nursing team

Ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including CQC

Driving inspection readiness and maintaining strong governance oversight

Embedding a positive, values-led, family-oriented culture focused on person-centred care

Working closely with senior leadership to deliver agreed quality and business objectives

To be considered for this role, you will need:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Home Manager within residential or nursing care

Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, governance, and quality frameworks

Proven experience managing medium-sized services

A confident, resilient, hands-on leadership style

The role offers a salary of £70,000 – £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
