Stephen James Consulting are supporting the recruitment of a Home Manager for a well-established not-for-profit residential care home based in the Bedfordshire area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring safe, compassionate and person-centred care

• Managing and developing staff teams, fostering a supportive, positive and inclusive culture

• Ensuring compliance with CQC standards, Local Authority requirements and internal governance

• Promoting a strong ethos of quality, dignity, resident involvement and continuous improvement

• Building trusted relationships with residents, families, colleagues and community partners

• Managing budgets and resources effectively to maintain sustainable, high-quality operations

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Level 5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent qualification

• A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a Home Manager within residential care

• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality governance

• Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop multidisciplinary teams

• Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills

• A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care
