Stephen James Consulting are supporting the recruitment of a Home Manager for a well-established not-for-profit residential and dementia care home based in the Wiltshire area.

This warm, welcoming and highly regarded care home is known for delivering personalised, compassionate residential, dementia and respite care within a comfortable and homely environment. The service offers charming bedrooms, inviting lounges and dining areas, landscaped gardens, a sun lounge, a library and a hair salon. As a not-for-profit organisation, every penny is reinvested directly into resident care, providing long-term reassurance and financial peace of mind for families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring safe, compassionate, and person-centred care

• Managing and developing staff teams, fostering a positive, inclusive and supportive culture

• Ensuring compliance with CQC standards, Local Authority requirements and internal governance

• Promoting a strong ethos of quality, dignity, resident involvement and continuous improvement

• Building trusted relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and community partners

• Managing budgets and resources effectively to support sustainable, high-quality operations

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Level 5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent qualification

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Home Manager in residential or dementia care

• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality governance

• Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop multidisciplinary teams

• Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills

• A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional person-centred care
