Stephen James Consulting continue to work with one of their established not-for-profit elderly care providers in the search for a Home Manager for a large residential and dementia care home based in Crowthorne, Berkshire.

Set within two acres of landscaped grounds, the home offers contemporary en-suite bedrooms, inviting lounges, a bistro, a cinema room, and a varied programme of meaningful activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring safe, personalised, and compassionate care

• Managing, coaching, and developing staff teams, fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture

• Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and all regulatory, local authority and organisational requirements

• Promoting a strong ethos of quality, dignity and resident involvement

• Building trusted relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and community partners

• Managing budgets and resources effectively to maintain operational excellence and long-term sustainability

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Level 5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent professional qualification

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Home Manager in a residential or dementia care setting

• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality governance

• Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop multidisciplinary teams

• Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills

• A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional person-centred care
