Regional Manager

Stephen James Consulting continue to work with one of their expanding elderly care providers, in the search for a Regional Manager covering a portfolio of care homes across Yorkshire.

This pivotal role forms part of the senior leadership team, with a focus on delivering the highest standards of care and operational excellence across the region. You will play a key part in shaping the organisation’s continued growth and reputation as one of the leading regional providers in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and supporting Home Managers across a portfolio of residential and nursing care homes

• Delivering commercial, operational, and quality objectives across the region

• Ensuring full CQC compliance and driving continuous improvement in care standards

• Developing and mentoring management teams, building strong succession plans to support future growth

• Managing organisational change effectively and ensuring service improvement outcomes

• Working collaboratively with the senior management team on new projects and strategic initiatives

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Significant experience in leading multiple healthcare teams (as a Regional, Area, or Operations Manager)

• In-depth knowledge of CQC requirements and the inspection process

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Demonstrable commercial acumen within a fast-paced care environment

• Experience in care home integration or turnaround would be advantageous

• Relevant management or leadership qualification
