Pre-School Manager

Stephen James Consulting are looking for a full time Pre-School Manager to join a family run, boutique nursery. Based in Reading, Berkshire.

This newly formed business offers 25 places, operating from 07:30am - 06:30pm offering a diverse range of stimulating activities and experiences that promote language development, social skills, numeracy, and creative expression in the children.

You will be responsible for:

• The Pre-School Manager should deliver management of the nursery, maintain the highest standards of childcare in the setting, provide leadership, training, mentorship, and development to the nursery staff team.
   
• You will have a positive relationship with parents, children, and colleagues, and ensure the settings policies and procedures are always adhered to.
   
• Adhering to the Policies & Procedures of the company and compliance with the Children Act, Health, and Safety legislation and within the guidelines of Ofsted and the National Standards.
   
• Ensuring confidentiality is maintained in the nursery.
   
• Supervising Nursery Nurses and Students and carrying out supervisory meetings where appropriate.

To be considered for this role of Pre-School Manager you will need the following experience: 

• Previous nursery management experience is essential.
   
• Minimum full and relevant LEVEL 3 in Early Years and Education.
   
• First class communication skills with children, parents, manager & staff Competent computer skills (email, Office etc.)
   
• The ability to be a valuable part of a team.
   
• A customer service approach, willing to go above and beyond for families.
   
• Able to lead by example, providing the highest quality childcare, whilst providing support and leadership to the staff team.

The role of the Pre School Manager is offering £43,000 - £48,000 salary range is dependent on candidate experience.
