Clinical Training Manager
You will be responsible for:
- Deliver Clinical training where required and agree the procurement of external training provision where necessary.
- Provide training in the real environment where possible and utilisation of a simulated environment where required.
- Assess the clinical competence of colleagues following training to ensure knowledge and understanding is applied correctly.
- Ensure all new Clinical Colleagues are shown a consistent approach to the training and assessment of clinical skills.
- Provide a preparatory programme to support overseas nurses.
- Work with Line Manager to design and deliver a robust nurse induction programme at all levels of the role.
To be considered for this role of Clinical Training Manager you will need the following experience:
- Current Registration with the NMC with active PIN
- Experience working within the NHS or Elderly Care environment.
- Minimum NVQ4 qualified in learning and development or relevant professional qualified such as Education and Training
- Certificate (EAT), PTTLS, ILM level 2 etc.
- Excellent presentation skills with great facilitation and training delivery
- Have knowledge of learning and development theory and the application of different models
- IT literate, with a working understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook applications
