Stephen James Consulting are recruiting for a Regional Manager, based in the East Midlands, our client, are one of the largest and most well-established care providers within the Learning Disabilities and Mental Health sector, this pivotal Regional Manager role will look after a small portfolio of complex Residential Services.
As Regional Manager, your commercial and clinical leadership will drive performance of existing services and oversee the strategic development of new services and implementation of strategies for change that supports growth.
Ensuring all services fully comply with all appropriate statutory standards and requirements as dictated by the regulators.
Managing 6-7 Residential Services within your region.
Managing governance and compliance within the area to achieve improvements and enhance standards; constantly monitoring and undertaking internal auditing.
Mentor, guide and line manage Registered Home Managers.
To be considered for this role of Regional Manager - you will need the following experience.
You will have worked previously as a Regional Manager and should meet all of the essential criteria below before making an application to this vacancy:
Strong knowledge and understanding of key national policy and professional guidance relating to the care and treatment of people with adults with learning disabilities and mental health difficulties.
Able to demonstrate excellent professional leadership skills.
Effective communication skills, with excellent project management skills.
Car driver/access to own transport – needs to be willing to travel within the region and to head and regional offices as required.
