Stephen James Consulting are partnering with an expanding Adult Specialist Care provider to recruit an experienced Service Manager, based in Godalming, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a complex care service

  • Lead, inspire, and develop the clinical and support teams

  • Ensure safe, person-centred, and compliant care delivery

  • Maintain robust governance, quality assurance, and CQC compliance

  • Oversee budgets, staffing, and performance to ensure sustainability

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a Registered or Service Manager within Complex Care, Mental Health, or Hospital settings – Essential

  • Skilled in leading teams and managing challenging behaviours

  • Proven track record of achieving strong CQC outcomes

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities

  • Experience in financial management, data analysis, and service development

  • Resilient, proactive, and able to balance operational and clinical priorities
