Home Manager

Stephen James Consulting is recruiting for a Home Manager, based in Wiltshire.

This medium-sized residential and dementia care home provides high-quality, person-centred care for older adults. The home has a strong reputation for delivering compassionate support within a safe and welcoming environment.

We are seeking a proven Home Manager with strong leadership skills, who can continue to develop and inspire staff, maintain compliance, and ensure residents and their families feel valued and supported.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and personalised care.

• Managing and developing staff teams, promoting a positive culture, and providing professional development.

• Upholding the home’s standards in line with CQC, Local Authority, and organisational requirements.

• Building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and local community stakeholders.

• Managing resources effectively to ensure the home remains compliant, efficient, and financially sustainable.

To be considered for this role of Home Manager, you will need the following experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Home Manager in a residential or dementia care home setting.

• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.

• A proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage staff teams.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• A commitment to delivering person-centred care.

This provider offers a competitive salary in the region of £50,000 – £55,000.
