Residential Home Manager
Stephen James Consulting is recruiting for a Home Manager, based in Bedfordshire.
This small residential care home provides high-quality, person-centred care for older adults and has an excellent reputation for standards of care and a supportive staff culture.
We are seeking an experienced Home Manager with strong leadership skills, who can maintain and build on the home’s quality, ensuring residents, their families, and staff continue to feel valued and supported.
You will be responsible for:

Leading the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and personalised care.

Managing and developing staff teams, promoting a positive culture, and providing professional development.

Upholding the home’s high standards in line with CQC, Local Authority, and organisational requirements.

Building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and local community stakeholders.

Managing resources effectively to ensure the home remains compliant, efficient, and financially sustainable.
To be considered for this role of Home Manager, you will need the following experience:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Home Manager in a residential care home setting.

Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.

A proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage staff teams.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A commitment to delivering person-centred care.
This provider offers a competitive salary in the region of £50,000 – £55,000 plus benefits.
