Home Manager

Stephen James Consulting is partnering with an established elderly care provider in the search for a Home Manager. This pivotal role will be accountable for the leadership and management of a medium-sized residential and dementia care home based in Lincolnshire.

The home provides a welcoming environment for residents and is supported by a committed and experienced care team focused on delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing, developing, and evaluating all aspects of service provision in line with legislation, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies

• Leading, supervising, and developing staff to maximise performance through effective leadership, mentoring, and support

• Embedding a culture of care aligned with the provider’s values, promoting dignity, respect, and positive outcomes for residents

• Ensuring strong governance, compliance, and inspection readiness

To be shortlisted for this role, you will need:

• At least 3 years’ proven experience as a Home Manager within residential and/or dementia care

• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively

• Experience leading organisational change and service improvement

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

• A strong understanding of the needs of older people and those living with dementia

• Sound working knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory frameworks

The Home Manager role offers a salary of £70,000–£75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
